Forest Friends Santa Claus- detailed handpainted wood figure stands 15 inches tall
Santa Claus, Father Christmas, St. Nicholas, St. Nick, Father Frost, a thousand names for one loving soul. No matter what he looks like, or what language he speaks we, as the people of the world, know what he is- the best of mankind. All the Joy, Happiness, Love, Kindness, Giving, Benevolence, Humanity, and Compassion are embodied in Santa. He appears slightly different in each person’s mind- so every way we see him is just perfect and this Hand cut and delicately hand painted Santa is no different.
‘Forest Friends Santa Claus’ is a One of a Kind handmade figure which stands a lovely 15 inches tall (taller than most gourds) and is perfectly balanced on his 11” by 5 ½” base. He and his base have been cut from ¾“ thick forest managed pine.
Santa is dressed in a rich, fur trimmed, deep, red robe. Santa is standing in a snow filled meadow surrounded by the creatures of the forest. He stands in this wonderland holding a crook with a candle lantern a-glow. Hiding in his pocket is a squirrel hoping to go with him on his rounds. A blue-bird sits upon his shoulder whispering secrets of children into Santa’s ear. One of St. Nick’s reindeer looks up at him waiting to head out this wintery night, while a rabbit offers a gift! A traditionally decorated tree filled with lit candles, snow, candy canes, and gold spangle stars has been carefully detailed into the picture. Even the back of the piece has been painted.
His base is decorated with a dusting of snow and glitter. Two snow covered trees are attached to the base, along with a white swan and a bunny pull-toy. Around the edge the base has been detailed with snowflakes and swirls.
Finally Santa and his base has been finished with varnished to protect him for generations of Christmas Celebrations.

Because this Santa has been handmade and hand painted he is truly OOAK (one of a kind). I loved painting him and I would never be able to reproduce his warmth again.
